Choose the correct Okeechobee criminal record route

Okeechobee County criminal records can involve different custodians. Court case records, Sheriff law-enforcement records, incident records and arrest reports are not the same product. Use the route that matches the record you need.

Fees, copies, certification and timing

General Clerk requests usually involve $1 per page plus retrieval time where applicable. The Clerk provides cost notice and requires payment before delivery. Completion time varies with the size and amount of records requested, so there is no instant-response promise.

Criminal search fees remain separately scoped: $2 per year searched, $1 per copy and $2 for certification. Certified criminal disposition requests should be directed through [email protected] with the identifying case and document requested. Official Records ordering tools are not treated as criminal-copy routes.

Sheriff records and interpreting results

The Sheriff's public-information route covers law-enforcement records. Requests can use [email protected], 863-763-3117, the official request portal, or in-person requests at 504 NW 4th St, Okeechobee, FL 34972. The Sheriff's stated request-review hours are Monday-Friday 8-5, excluding holidays; this is not a universal counter schedule. Listed costs include $0.15 per page and $15 per hour for lengthy research, with prepayment requirements where applicable. Individual reports or arrest affidavits may be available without charge for involved persons under the Sheriff's stated process.

Sheriff incident records use details such as incident date, location and report number. An arrest report documents an arrest event and does not establish a conviction. Records may also have legal exemptions or redactions.
